Aim:

This course will allow workers to effectively respond and engage with service users who use psychostimulants

Learning Objectives:

• Recall the current trends and emerging trends with psychostimulants.
• Give an overview of the key psychostimulants in use including cocaine, amphetamines, ecstasy, and stimulant type NPS.
• Identify recreational and problematic psychostimulant use.
• Identify effective strategies and techniques for working with psychostimulant users including harm reduction.
