Online Invisible Women: Raising Awareness of the Needs of Women who Use Substances
Our training attracts attendees from a wide range of sectors and we encourage active participation in our sessions through group discussions and by inviting individuals to offer comments on issues relevant to their role. Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Consider substance use from a female perspective, linking to policy.
- Describe the current trends and complex needs of females who use substances.
- Describe the intersectionality of stigma from a female perspective and the impact this has on recovery.
- Identify ways to respond to the needs of women who use substances.
