Are you new to working in health, social care, or addiction support services? Are you an existing staff member looking to brush up on basic drug awareness? This course lays the foundation for all our other e-learning courses and is a great place to start!

After you complete this course, you will recognise different patterns of drug use and be able to name commonly used drugs in Scotland. You will also learn vital harm reduction techniques that you can immediately put into action.

  • Describe patterns of drug use
  • Recall commonly used drugs in Scotland
  • Understand and explain harm reduction techniques
