Injecting Equipment Provision & Harm Reduction (Pharmacy Session)

A session discussing Injecting Equipment Provision and other associated harm reduction interventions for pharmacies within NHS Grampian area.

WHAT WILL BE COVERED?

• Current trends in drug use
• Practical harm reduction advice
• Different equipment stocked by IEPs (Needle Exchanges): What is it for? What advice goes with it?
• Upcoming changes to IEP equipment suppliers
• Practicalities of delivering IEP

The invite is open to all -preference will be given to staff from IEP pharmacies if numbers are high. We encourage as many staff as possible from IEP pharmacies to attend but would expect all IEP pharmacies to be represented by someone who can feed back to others who cannot attend.
